Here's some of my recent work

A look at a few current projects — a wedding officiant, a tribute band, and a restaurant — each at a different stage of the process.

Marie had been officiating weddings since 2019 with a DIY two-page site that had never generated a single lead — every booking came through word of mouth, Yelp, or her Google Business Profile. The old site had minimal copy, no local search signals, and nothing for AI search tools to work with. The rebuild launched in late January 2026 with six pages built from scratch, each with a clear call-to-action and copy structured specifically to capture local search traffic and give AI search the depth it needs to recommend her services. Every word on the new site is original. We're now in an ongoing visibility program, optimizing her Google Business Profile, refining title and description tags for both traditional and AI search, and reviewing Search Console weekly to guide content decisions.

The Highwayman Show

The band came with a three-page GoDaddy template site that had broken layouts and didn't come close to matching the energy of the act — a tribute show featuring a Golden Buzzer winner from America's Got Talent and a top-10 American Idol finalist. With a tour coming up, the rebuild needed to be sharp, cohesive, and ready to make an impression. Built on WordPress with Divi 5, the completed site is a six-page immersive experience with a dark, high-contrast aesthetic that actually feels like a show — full-width photography, diagonal design elements, a show highlights gallery, individual artist bios, music, and a mailing list. All copy is original. The one noted caveat: the Tour Dates section uses an embedded Google Calendar, which the client chose to keep for simplicity and budget.

Thistle Restaurant

Squarespace Local Visibility Strategy Content Architecture ● 90-Day Engagement In Progress

Thistle Our Story page Thistle Bios page
Thistle has been a McMinnville staple since 2009—Oregon Restaurant of the Year, Best Bar of the Year—but following the pandemic, a newer ownership needed to rebuild its visibility and draw new traffic. The original site looked beautiful but had three near-empty pages with almost no indexable content and a single call-to-action. Nothing for Google or AI search to recommend. This 90-day engagement started in mid-January 2026. The site is being expanded from three pages to a full content architecture: Thistle's Story, The People, Kitchen, Bar, Vibe, Events, Hours & Location, and local Partners. Every page is written from scratch, building the brand narrative, local signals, food philosophy, team introductions, and community partnerships into the foundation. Mid-engagement update: Thistle's busiest weeks ever on record occurred at the end of February — typically the slowest weeks of the year. The owner has directly credited the visibility work.
